Throttle Bodies

   With throttle bodies do you take out all the ecu or do you need some mangerment set up.
   
   i seen on some cars that they taken all the ecu out, would that be because there using carbs and you dont need a ecu for them?

   You need an ECU if running injection, else you have nothing to control the fueling.
   
   And you want a decent standaloe ecu for throttle bodies (awaits the you can run them on OE ecu brigade)

   carb tuning is without injection. Theres a reason why cars these days dont run carbs but do run an ecu controlling the fueling. thats because its better.
   
   Set up of bodies will depend on where you go if they are fitting them or if you are etc...

    Got much info off that lad mark? What are the bodies off? Or are they aftermarket ones?

    well the lad never used them bodies but hes got a DTA management that is cheap and very useable with the bodies as hes says.

    Mapping from dave walker when I was due to go for adjusting was circa £300 iirc.
    
    I bought the engine running, I have recepts alone for over 7k though, without the cost of bodies/manifold included in that
