New pedals

   Im looking for some new pedals for my R reg MK1, but im not so sure if they will fit, few of the MK1 saxo's don't actually seem to have any rubber on the accerator pedal....would i still be able to fit some pedals on though anyway? or a certain type needed?

   you dont need rubber on the loud pedal for it to go through an mot!
   
   and if you fitting afermarket pedals you have to remove the original rubbers anyways...

   i wasn't asking if it would pass an MOT.....just noticed that a few old saxos didn't have rubber on the accelerator and wondering if there was an reason behind it and if i could fit any new pedals on.

   yes you can fit new pedals on!!
   
   to fit new pedals you have to remove the rubbers from all three pedals.
   
   maye the old saxo's did have rubber on but its just worn right down and as it isnt a MOT requierment they havent replaced them?!?

   im not really sure mate, mine are still standard at the mo!.
   
   i know citreon used to do them specificly for the saxo but are hard to get hold of now, they would be best!
   
   all i can say is make sure there not super-wide as you know saxo pedals are really close anyways.
   
   just go for a quality make..sparco,momo etc..also check the mounting holes are in each corner and not in the centre.

   which ever you want but you have to make sure theres a certain length of gap between the pedals as its an mot failure and could be very dangerous

   citroen sport ones, they're great and fit spot on.
