Well all depends on the tester at the end of the day, you get picky ones and not so picky ones, i knew the people who did mine as i used to work there

6000k ones are about borderline legal on colour, buthere not legal if there not already fitted on a car as standard, ive not had any bother and i dont know anyone else that has had any bother with having them

    wrong.

i had 100w headlight bulbs AND 130w foglight bulbs not so long ago and they wer perfectly fine.

they do recomend you change your wiring and run bigger relays etc

reason being is the standrd wiring cant put the power through the bulbs really need.

Like a sub for example, the bigger (thicker) the wires, the better.....

They will be fine n the standard loom but for the best performance and the best brightness of the bulbs, you should really upgrade the wiring.

I got quoted £50 to upgrade the headlight AND foglight wiring on my car from a local auto electricians

There are the bulbs i had.

    HEADLIGHTS

    FOGLIGHTS

i didnt really rate the headlights bulbs as the blue tinge made them less bright, but the foglight bulbs wer amazing, didnt need the headlights, even on back roads!

for the headlights i would go with these.... HERE

other than that, get a HID kit as they are DEFO worth it!

    Hopw this has helped

EDIT - Also, i forgot to mention, i never once got any boher from the police, even though i had 100w blue bulbs in.

So i would imagine the 160w would be perfectly fine as they are just white.....

obviously the 160w is only on the main beam, think it says there 90-100w on dipped...

would recomend gettin some 130w foglight bulbs for if your on back roads etc

I got Ring Sportz blue 100W in mine, a lot better than what I had before. Nice white light with a tint of blue but wasn't that noticeable. Never been hassled by the police.
