    is this a sign to tell me that my clutch is on the way?

    Yes it can do mate. When the friction lining on the clutch wears over time, the total thickness of the plate getts thinner. So as the plate is thinner, it has further to travle to engage againts the flywheel.

    so how much am i looking at to get it all replaced (on a 1.1i)

    It depends on where you look. For a 1.1 they wont be that expensive. You could ask on the forums here even. But ive just seen a clutch kit on ebay for not much at all.

    It was £48.90 buy it now. but i havent looked into what you get.

    you can adjust the biting point yourself under the bonnet theres a cable ontop of the gearbox just screw that up a little for the time being but yes it is a sign that the cluth has had some use...
