Which Tyres...?

Right, have a nice set of Euro Rims DBV's to be exact...
Got some tyre advice on here the other week as to which size tyre to go for to get a nice bit of Stretch....

Now have found 2 possible tyre choices...
    NanKang - NS-2 165/50 R15 72V with rim protection, TW = JUST £35
    Bridgestone - Potenza RE 040 165/50 R15 73V KZ = £42.50?

Does rim protection mean it wont stretch?
    Which ones to go for?
Everyone on here highly recommends the Bridgestone,
But could save myself £20 if I go for the Nankang?

Anyone ever stretched a Nankang? Pardon the punn..

Are Nankang bad quality tyres then?
Theyve a nice tred pattern for both wet and dry use?

toyo proxes, ive used a few different tyres, yokohama's, bridgestones, nankangs and non of them have been as good as the toyo proxes. alot of places do a 2 year accidental and vandelism damage warrenty on them too. (and they stand there word. i clipped a kerb avoiding another car. they replaced both my front tyres free of charge as they say its best to change both)

Nankangs arent actually THAT bad for what they are. seeing as your looking for stretch obviously you not after a proper performance tyre so they should be fine

sure i posted in ur thread with details n pics etc! brigestones supposdley dont strech aswell as the nakangs. but i cant really see the difference. toyo's in personal experience seem to be the best but u cant get them in the size ur after! i run 185/45/15 nakangs on my 8's on the rear and 165/50/15 bridestones on the my 8's on the front!
(<------see pic) id just go with the bridgestones ur not going for an extreme stretch so doesn't matter how soft the sidewall is really. Bridgestones will offer better grip
