Alloy refurbing equipment ?

   Going ahead and refurbing my alloys using furioAL's guide, heres a list of what im buying/bought just need to ask about primer and filler really
   with the primer just making sure, does it have to be aluminium primer like here:
   Plasti-kote Aluminium Primer 400ml
   or some type of super enamol primer as im not to sure, the paint you use im guessing can be just white spray paint
   then the laquer obviously just clear spray paint laquer

   sorry im half asleep forgot to add with the filler does it come with the hardener or is that seperate to buy ?

   i got my primer from haldfords bud when i refurbed my alloys, dont think it matters too much.

   kk cool, also another question, my tyres are balanced obviously, what do i do about this just take the weight off and put it back on when im done or what ?

   do you have any kerbing marks or any gauges in the wheels?
   
   the laquer from halfords is sufficant and you just need to spray it on you dont need to add anything to it.
   
   Have you had the tyres taken off or are you painting with them still on?

   Acid etch primer is the best primer for your wheels mate.

   Yes you need that to apply to bare alloy otherwise the paint wont adhere to it aswell and will start to flake off after a while
