    hi can any1 let me know what id need and how hard it would be to paint a vtr kit its on the car atm and in silver looking to paint it black

    unlimited time means time to learn. take your bodykit off to spray it makes it alot easier and do it in a dry dust free area with no wind. and just make sure you get the preparation right.

    planing and preparation prevent poor piss performance

    Best thing to do mate go scrap yard and get any old body pannel and practice

    Sand paper, Wet&dry, Primer, laquer, paint, and tape (if your not doing the bump strips


    Sand Down
    Prime
    Sand down
    Prime
    Sand down
    Prime
    You may wish to use very fine wet&dry here

    Each time you sand down use a lighter grain of sand paper (less ruff)

    Apply coat one of silver
    Wet & Dry
    Coat two of silver
    very very fine wet & dry
    Coat three of silver

    Allow to try once happy apply two or three layers of laquer...

    Think thats about it...Try do it in a dust free area and take your time as to get the best finish...
