move e/w switch

    does any one know if ists possible to move the e/w switch to the doors coz its starting to get to me lol

    im thinking of this as well, quickshift fitted, so the centre console isnt connected properly! i was thinking change the switch button to somthing smaller and mounting in dash where the spare buttons are

    i was thinking in the door handle on both sides. i dont think it would fit in the spare button part

    can it be done?????????? any no any that has done it or know that its possible

    thats why i would use another button lol corse it can be done, just need the right tools and ideas, to put it in the door handles, you would have to re wire it through the doors, then dremel out a suitable sized hole and stick them down, more hastle than its worth imho,unless your realllly bored. why u wanna move it so bad?

    they will fit sideways in the 4 spare button spaces lads

    I must admit, I do think that they are in an annoying place. In the dash is a good idea. Why are there so many blanks in the dash? What could possibly go in there from the factory. The VTS is the top spec of the Saxo so do they have anything that the R's dont have?

    alarm, turn airbag on and off, (thats two of the four spares lol) erm cant think what else

    of course it can be done, just trace the wires back as far as possible and then re-route through the doors, make sure you get the right type of buttons though

    check saxomark's progress thread he has a quickshift and has mounted them on a bit of carbon

    one of the spare switches is for air con too it came on some of the left hand drive saxos, but they couldnt fit it on the RHD ones
