t2 turbo from a xantia diesel?

   as above! any one think i can use this for my vtr low boost set up? shouldnt matter that its from a diesel right?

   Wrong, diesel turbos are made with different materials, which can react with a petrol engine.
   
   Get one from a petrol engine.

   sophia bush bought a diesel turbo from myself for his 1.1 turbo project so i assumed all would be fine.

   Most but not all turbos used in diesels are not suitable for petrol engine. Petrol exhaust gasses run at much higher temp and are very corrosive. Also the actual performance spec of the turbos tend to differ considerably. Generally stay away from a diesel turbo unless you know exactly what your getting and you know it will work.

   cheers lads, i have actually heard a million and 1 times that you cant use them but didnt know why? so i assumed that it must be hear say!!
