i was going to paint the interior plastics like on the 'how to' guide and the same with my headlights. i was just wondering what type of paint i would need to do it?

most spray cans will paint the interior plastics, providing they are scuffed n cleaned up.

Halfords is your best bet m8

Most of their paint goes on fine after primer

you can get proper "flexible vinyl paint" for spraying the interior plastics. but thers only a few colours and most are gash

    I'd reccomend Halfords.

Did my vents and centre console with their paint and was very pleased with the results

halford grey primer is rather good, i prefer to use acid 8 2k primer but that is quite abit more expensive. as for halfords colours ive never had any issues. shades are sometimes abit different though

I sprayed my door cards - I primed them in white primer (noit sure if it was plastic primer) did about 3 layers of it, then sprayed it blue - it looked really good but then it started to rub of with the slightest rub... Is this because i hadnt sanded it first, or does it just need another layer of colour & then a layer or 2 of laqure?

you need to sand it between every layer to give the paint something to stick to.

Well ive noticed that after spraying them with a few more layers the next day, the paint is a lot more solid to the doorcard - it may seem stupid, but i had assumed that it would be ready after the 4 hour fully dry time. Im going to laqcuer it today - ive sprayed the centre console, the door cards (removed the fabric & replaced with leather) the door handles, the door opener surround, the vent surround ill get some pics of them out of the car aswell as some befor / after pics - fingers crossed the paints stuck well!
