Over reving at idle

   I have a 1.6 vtr mk2 engine in my mk1 and its over reving, I have no air box on it but havent driven it like that as not good for the engine,Im just wondering what could be the problem and why its over reving what to look for thanks people?

   idle speed control valve?

   erm maybe because you haven't got an airbox on?

   Ok well i will try the airbox problem, and look into the idle control valve as im not to sure on that!

   the fact your running a furio loom and ecu on the 98bhp vtr?
