handbrake stuck on

   my handbrake seems to be a liitle stuck on only ion the back wheel drivers side discs and pads replaced about 3 weeks ago any ideas on what i can do ?

   What you mean stuck on? You put the handbrake down and it cant move? Have you not driven it for a few weeks of something? If so just make sure nothing is infront of you, put it in first and force it to 'snap'. It wont snap, just become unseized.

   its just like the pad is rubbin against teh disc a got out yesterday and there was smoke coming from the brake

   I would be tempted to take the caliper off, wind the piston back in and clean it up. Then add greese/copperslip where needed, ie sliders, edges of the pads, back of pads.
   
   Please correct me if this is not good advice, I have had little experience with rear calipers except changing pads on my own Saxo.
