Just got myself a show cage,does anyone know if this would be easy to spray myself.was wondering if it would be hard to paint becouse of the material it is made from.Any other sugestions would be great.cheers

#2Aslong as you and it down so the paint has something to stick to mate you should be ok, need metal primer to cover it completly and if that sticks to it then your on to a winner!
Spray it up the same you would anything else then use some laquar. Make sure the place your doing it has some warmth to aid the drying of the paint etc.
Then try not to scratch it as your putting it in the car lol -
#3im gonna be doing mine, you want a can of aluminium etch primer to make sure the primer bonds to the surface correctly

#9Cheers for the help folks,ive been using metal primer and so far so good.going to leave it to settle,then gona sand it down.your right there sean lol.its alot better doing it yourself mate,even if it dosent turn out well,thats the fun in it.also got hammerite paint,so hopefully will turn out well.

#12iv already primerd it and also got a few coats of hamerite down,will get a few pictures up for yous ,its looking no bad so far.
