#2the wishbone balljoint needs pressing in and out man
not really a diy job unless you have a press
ive seen it tried with a lump hammer and it ended badly -
#3it works out easier to buy a whole bottom arm they are cheap enough !!
-
#4I tried getting it out myself it didnt work and i broke a nail because of it

5 minute job to take the lower arm off then 5 mins to get it off in a press.
It cost me £10 for 2 ball joints off ebay.
then £5 to press out the old ones and put in the news from my local garage
alot cheaper than buying new lower arms tbh -
#5Get the arm, your bushes will probably be hanging anyway mate unless you have replaced/upgraded them previously.

#6if its the ball joint im thinking of(directly underneath the shock?) if knock that out with a bar and used a jack to put it back in,that was done on my vtr 10,000 miles ago and i ve not had any problems yet

#7would be tempted to say if you havent really got much equipment at where your doing it just buying the whole bottom arm is easier as you get the ball joint and bushes with it so saves replacing them in a few months and taking it all apart again if they go.
