nimrod alloys

    hey, i got a saxo vts 1999 just wondered if any1 knows weather nimrods will fit straight on my saxo or do i need new spacers and bolts???

    you need spacers to fit these on, my pal got a set for his 106 and had to get pugeot ecosse to custom build him them I think they were around the £140 mark

    just looked into it a bit and they are a direct fit if they've come off a 406 but if they are off a 206 gti you will need spacers

    the 406 nimrods 15" dont need spacers.

    didnt know you can get nimrods in 15"! was thinking about having a set of these of a gti and make up some spacers at the workshop!

    Sorry if i sound like bit of a nimrod, but i cant think what these alloys look like?

    My boss has these in 16 inch on his 406, I am always pestering him for them
    the 15 inch and 16 inch are slightly different looking, not sure what it is, but the 15s dont look as nice

    I have a peugeot 106 1.1 independence I am off to pick up some 15 inch nimrod gti wheels for my car will they be a straight fit? The ones I have on at the moment are 14 inch

    Yes they will bolt on fine. Might have to check the tyre size on them as they may rub.

    The tyres are way too big for my car what would you recommend? Low profile tires? The tyres that are on them at the minute are 195/65 R15

    yeah thats way too big. Go for 195/45/15 thats the standard tyre size for VTS alloys.

    Thanks mate do you think they will be a straight fit then or might they still rub and need wheel spacers?

    They will bolt on fine as the stud patterns the same. You may need different wheel nuts will either be tapered or flat ones.

    Chances are it will rub on the rear. Had a quick read and most people grind back on the inside of the arch and/ or roll the outer arch out slightly. Have a google or use the search bar up top plenty of people have done it before.

    Sorry to jump in on this but I thought strike whilst the iron is hot. Would 16" Nimrods fit a 2001 vtr?
