Removing the gearbox, how to remove driveshaft?

    Started removing the g/box on my car today, came to removing the drive shaft from it and the Haynes manual states I can keep the drive shaft in the hub, however the manual only states how to remove a drive shaft completely. To do it do I just need to separate the wishbone from the hub or does anything else need removing?

    Also any other tips for g/box removals/refitting would be nice

    just need to disconnect the drop link and seperate the balljoint i think then move the whole thing out of way of the gbox.

    make sure you drop the oil out before removing the driveshaft too else it'll go everywhere
