rear beam bearing queiry

   Ok,can anyone tell me other then the beam bearing's,what would cause knocking noise and movement in the trailing arms?
   
   as I expect it's bearings but just wondered if anyone has had this and the cause wasn't the beam bearing's,but with the same symptons.

   Could it not be just the bearings though and the actual stub pin worn so its like an oval?

   if it was the stub pins like you have mentioned would this be a simple fix?

   if bearings gone them most def new rear beam as williams said as stub pins will be fucked.

    i just had to fit a new beam to pass my MOT, i manadged to get one from a standard VT and put that on, it cost £150. The only shit bit was fitting the beam cos the uts arent tacked in place so trying to put the new beam on is shit hard, i ended up cutting two windows so i could tack the nuts down to tighten the beam on, then welded it all up after.

    lol, i couldnt think of any other way to fit it or to stop the nuts spinning! was driving me mad, all is good now, my car has gone from 60/60mm down to completely standard height in the past week, gonna go back down soon though
