engine swap/transplant

   hi people just a quick one, will any saxo engine fit any saxo? i intend on swapping engine, box ecu and loom on a motor i bought for our lass to learn in but dont want to buy the wrong thing. cheers in advance

   A quick answer.
   
   Yes, any engine will fit any saxo. and any box will fit any engine. The ECU need to be matched.

   so as long as i get the engine with its original ecu it should just be a straight over swap?

   If I'm not mistaken you will still need it unlocked as it won't talk to the immobiliser. I had to do it for my 3 pin 206 to fit the 3 pin vtr engine ECU.

   cant i just swap over the keypad from donor car?
