#4Cheers for letting us know that mate, but unless your going to help him, I suggest you don't post, especially after Simo's thread about spam etc.Quote:I think the first thing you should do is try the search button..
I take it from your name you have a Flat-Arch model yeah? The VT Arches, with decent work can be moulded to line up with the flat arch bumpers, but IMO it's not worth it, you may as well VT-Kit it otherwise it won't look right.Quote:well just a couple of things im stuck on .... wheel arches will they look crap with out a body kit (would the wheel arch extensions look ok ) how much does a full spay job on a saxo cost? how low can i drop it with vtr alloys on? and the two main things 1st the interior..how far do i go and how much can be changed. and 2ndly ...the front end is different to the newer saxo's and im not to keen on the look (just something about it cant work out what) but how could i change this without an amazing amount of cost?
You can go up to 60mm on springs and dampers, but If you get coilovers you can go 100mm+ IIRC, but this will cause you all kinds of problems. Most people go down 40-50-60mm.
You can do a MK1-MK2 conversion (I guess this is what your asking) but it won't be cheap. It requires a MK2 Slam Panel, Bonnet, Wings and Headlights, with possibly other things (can't think off the top of my head). These will need to be sprayed, and even if you fit them yourself your looking at over £200 for the parts plus at least that again for spraying.
Full spray job can vary depending on quality, and who you know etc, but for a good job expect to pay £1000+ but If your not worried about quality or know someone in the industry you can often get it for almost half that. -
#5well isit a mk1 or mk2?
cause i've got a mk1 and i've got a 'smiley grill' on it, that and some black angel eyes on the front looks really tidy
as for the inside, dont go mad and get bucket seats and stuff imo, maybe just a nice sound system and some subtle interior lighting..? Thats relatively cheap!
and a tidy looking new gear knob and stuff

#6Why not? Bucket seats can look great If your going for the stripped look, or just want to save some weight. Although I agree if your keeping the rear seats in, buckets can then be pretty ghey.Quote:well isit a mk1 or mk2?

but at the end of the day, its a 1.1 (i have a 1.1 too btw) and its only a car for the year, you know? lol
but if you really want to turn it into a 'track-beast' then go for it
it might look cool, but only if its stripped out and maybe a cage in there too
