#3they say saxo parts are cheap and plentyfull lol, theyd have to be with the amount of fucking problems you come into lol
-
#4hahaha atleast it isnt a really expensive problem mate
-
#5lol id say a drive shaft is one of the more expensive things that could go wrong for an 8v, othere then gearbox etc there not much really expensive to go wrong(well from a doing all labour yoursefl point of view anyway) evrythings quite cheap tbf, engines are pennys etc
-
#6Sounds more like the outer cv joint to me.
Is it a one piece shaft/joint on the saxo? -
#7have you considered the middle pipe in your exhaust?
-
#8nar its driveshaft im positve, distinct click from driveshaft when turning left, thought i had a stone in my tyre for a few days till it worsened
-
#9Or a wheel bearing.
Matt. -
#10dont think its a wheel bearing, not that type of noise and its not when the wheel is under any load if you get me, going round a corner at 2mph it still clicks, its not a grinding sort of wheel bearing type noise
-
#11what kind of click is it cause my bearing in my spring went and it click every corner i went round have a look jack up your car and see if you can see any damage?
-
#12Get under the car and check the rubber gaitors on the end of the driveshafts for any splits.
-
#13i have a spare 2nd hand drive shaft.....
Got it in a box of parts i bought, have no idea what side its for or what it will fit (know its for a VT) maybe its hwat you need, i dont no
