sparco petrol cap

   hey all iv got a sparco petrol cap on my car and want to get rid and put a standard blue one back on but is there any chance i can take the lock out of the sparco one and put it onto a blue cap ??? if it can be done let me no cheers

   ive never really looked at mine that close but i guess they should come apart ill have a look next time i fill up mate, surely they should be inter changeable somehow.

   They are, if you search you'll see.
   
   You need a knife to separate them and twist at same time.
