Engine re-build

    so my piston rings are going this is a good time to replace lots of parts lol.
    So far iv'e ordered: piston rings, main bearings, big end bearings, headgasket kit, timing belt kit,lighten crank pulley,alternator pulley, new alternator belt, 172 injectors, headwork to done. Anything else while its been done?
    Already have ph3cams, new coilpack, new throttle body.

    Thank for any answers.

    maybe time to high comp pistons ?

    Make sure the headgasket kit comes with the headgasket, You may need a thicker one etc if getting head skimmed, unless you want to up compression.

    Need some head bolts too.

    How long ago was the clutch done?

    Camshaft, crank oil seals

    Valve stem seals

    There is a fair amount of money there! Good luck with the re-build M8ey.

    i wish i had as much money as you shane! i want loads doing on my car and i cant even afford half of it

    was thinking about valves tbh. not bothering with the clutch until i source a gearbox.

    what you after gouldy? hows the car mate?

    car is fine mate tar. im after a brand fire new head at the min as well as alot of painting and ive also got a bucket seat, harness and frames to go in.

    i still ant seen your car yet though

    big end bolts, head bolts, jp4 valves?

    cars down with ricky will be there a week or so. im keeping my eye out for a cage before i get buckets again lol.

    Already have full set off new head/inlet bolts.
