vts box has faster acceleration than an R box, vtr box has a longer final drive!

i have a vts box on my vtr engine at the minute. i wouldnt say its MUCH better, it is a tiny bit more responsive and i hit the limiter in first quicker but its in second and third on country lanes that it really proves its self

The VTR has either a longer/shorter final drive (can't remember which way round it is) but it makes it slightly slower accelerating than a VTS box would on the same car.

The best gearboxes for quicker acceleration is the S2 Rallye and The 106 XSI box, If you can pick one of these up in good condition you'll be laughing.
