Removing your door-pins In The Modification article

   i just that the article in the modifcations section about removing the door pins, how does this work then what do you replace in stead of the pins or do you simple just not have any mean of locking the door while inside, i think its a good idea but only if theres an alternative to the door pins,

   Most people just use rubber grommets in place of the pin, you can get them from halfords.
   
   You can still lock the car from the inside with the key fob if you want.
   
   I did both sides in under 10 minutes and it looks alot better and makes my car more secure too.

   But if you have an after market alarm fitted without it having the feature where it automatically locks the doors your screwed!.... as it sets the alarm as well lol I have the same prob so I am looking into a new alarm! (Ever tried driving through the middle of Nottingham?)…oh dear!

   sorry to hi-jack, but if your car is stripped and have no door cards on the front is there anyway in which you can tidy up where to door pin is . . . . . . . am not sure but dont rallyes have large rubber inserts where the door pin sits and wont rattle around? and if so can you still get them from a pug parts desk?
   
   would really appreciate help on this 1 folks.
