Jesus they appeal so much to a cop

if you did get pulled then it is supposed to be a fine and points but most cops will gie you a producer, change your plates for legal ones, then go to a mot tester to egt the producer signed and then send it away

if you do that then nothing is said and you dont get a fine, but its all down to the cop

It is the font and spacing of letters, the graphics too, you would stand a better chance with it being ghosted

if you just had illegal spacing do you get points as well? like if you had A1 ABC spaced as A1ABC could you still get points or will you almost defo get just a producer as its less offensive than a different font?
  19. #19
Tbh if you have your reg spaced out wrong to what they should be it might be more serious it might not be, but it will all come back on who did the plates thats why postcodes are put on them now

    haha at the fullstop. lol

ooh right, well i wanna get rid of the space in my new personalised plate...hmm not sure whether to get some with out the space and just keep legal plates in the boot for when i get pulled and say that the plates came like that, and that im about to change them. and show them some legal ones in the boot.

im happy with a fine or producer, just dont want points on my license. i suppose they would have to be a c**t to give me points. im sure if im polite and nice to them i would just get a fine or producer and not points.

Make sure you give the ones you take off a good clean, cops wont believe they're new legal ones if theres dead bugs on it

my mate has the most illegal plates ever, the writing has been altered alot and he has been pulled alot for them, he keeps a spare set in the boot to keep the police happy.

i think it just shows the police that you actually know that they are illegal
  35. #35
i agree with scotty, pressed plates ftw, ordering mine soon =)

is your plate illegal? in your avatar it looks like you dont have a space between the last '2' and the 'J'....

even keeping other plates in the boot to say you were going to sawp them will only work if the same cop doesnt pull you though
  38. #38
