New Gear Knob

    I have a MK1 R reg saxo, i have been told that i can't take of the standard gear knob and replace it with a new one, is that correct or just some guy telling me bollox?

    No that's not true, a gear knob change is probably one of the easiest interior mods possible!

    Just give it a good tug and it should come off, ready to replace with something nicer

    o dear Abi, your like them little chav theifs that steal things tutut! maybe one could fall in your pocket for me can't remember why i can't take it off or so why i have been told i can't, don't most gear knobs just unscrew/come off with a good old alan key?

    Just give the knob a gool ole yank :O that sounds rude then again the amount of tugging you need to do from outside it probably looks quite rude too lol. I have to have an adapterey thing to fit a VT* knob just like a little black plastic sleeve thing which goes on the metal before the VT* knob its a bitch when that gets stuck on the metal bit that's a plier job that is!!

    P.S. i can't be a chavette im 18 and havent got 7 kids!

    how many then 8+? really don't wanna just yank off the gear knob incase i fuck the whole gear box up! which i can see me doing. if i did that i would be well pissed off. trying to explain how i managed it. Well i slapped it into 4 th and just tryed my best 2 pull off the knob but it just broke the whole thing

    my technique is to pull nice and steady like and give it a little wiggle it soon lets go and comes off. how did you guess i had more than 8 kids LOL. nah i wud rather die than have kids i dont do well wih children, never have lol rather have a puppy

    lol ill give it a try when i buy a new gear knob from somewhere, also hoping that if i fail i can get a refund Take it you got a dog? or want one badly, my dog is 14 on the 28th, 3 years younger than me well 4 when im 18 in May

    i'v got three dogs: labrador is 12 on jan 1st, and iv got 2 springers, 2 1/2 and 3 1/2 but i still want a pupy (i tend to get a little broody for one every now and then) what type of dog you got?
