oil sump gasket (i think)

    would a vtr oil sump thing fit a 1.1 oil sump its just i cracked my gfs ages ago and just wondering

    I am not 100% on what your asking but the 1.1 sump is totally different to the 1.6.

    im not too sure i went down a kerb before and smacked somthing under the car and oil started coming out of it i was told its a sump gasket

    1.6s dont use gaskets, they just use sealant. Youll need to get a 1.0/1.1 gasket, or as above, use instant jobby.

    well you cant crack a gasket by going of a curb

    you must mean the sump itself (has a bolt on where u drain the oil from)

    if so, like said above, the VTR sump are different to the other sumps, best thing to do is replace, since your going to have to replace the oil too, may as well change the oil filter if it hasn't been done to recently.
