Fitting mk2 spoiler

I am fitting a mk2 spoiler but the flat part to bond it goes on the glass but I've been told you can't bond onto glass, what should I do?
    How did you do yours?
I'm using sikaflex by the way

i pressume you can do. many people have stuck them on, just make sure you leave it to set properly before taking the holding tape off.

Get a mk2 VT rear window as it has holes for the spoiler to bolt through.

tiger sealed mine on, £8 ebay. get a bit of the black shit on either end, press it firmly on the glass in the right position and get someone to gaffa tape it on for a few hours
