    ive just got back from wales the sax has had sum TLC...

    Original gearbox back in, 2* new driveshafts, drivers side suspension drop link, full service (oil&filter,radiator fluid,fuel filter,spark plugs, cleaned airfilter&breathers,brakes fluid,power steering fluid, MOT)

    She now runs sweet as a nut with a little over 104.5k on the clock!

    The problems i had were a knocking, clunking noise, happening at random times, she seemed to hold back slightly when exelerating hard, the steering would also knock when on full lock, she seemed rather rattly & unsettled!

    when up on the ramp we discoverd the dif in the 106rally S1 gearbox was shot & so was both drive shatfs, this ment when the shafts were turned the gearbox would clunk as it came into play, then was rather rattly & clunky, the shafts were knocking as the interds were shot in the rubbers also the suspension drop link rubber was split meaning dirt & nasty stuff wasnt helping the ride... after doin the work plus a service shes much much better...

    if you have any of the symptoms here this may help you to see whats wrong...
