VTS headgasket issues

    Right long story short

Ive rebuilt a VTS bottom end and head came to pair the two up today to find the head gasket i had been sent by euro car parts didnt match up to some of the holes on the head and bottom end.
The gasket code/engine code was TU5JP4

This gasket kit on ebay says it will fit a gti/vts as did the euro car parts but it looks the same to the one i have, which doesnt fully match up

am i just being stupid or do some of the holes stay blocked up?

Thats the correct gasket. Some of the galleries stay partially blocked, im not 100% sure why but see it all the time. I guess to regulate the flow of coolant around the engine.

JP4 is the late spec engine, are you using a JP4 bottom end? just out of interest.
