   up until yesterday i was buying a gti engine that would be perfect for my car but the seller has backed out
   
   anyone aware of someone selling a vts engine on here?(already checked for sale section)
   also needs to be shipped to dublin

   you need
   
   engine
   gearbox
   ecu
   loom
   interior loom
   clocks
   fuel return line
   fuel pump
   mounts
   driveshafts
   manifold then full exhaust
   
   quiksilver is pretty much same as westcoast, same engine so you would need to use the same so you can get it running and use gti clocks for oil temp
   
   i didnt back out john, im just selling whole car instead of engine itself
   
   and me personally but id do some research as you really dont want you use your westcoast break system when your running a 16v gear
   
   with my quiksilver, yoru gtting full front gti and gti rear disk brakes
   
   your brakes wont be so good when yoru doing much higher speeds and need to brake suddenly

   edit, also you need fan, as 1.4 really isnt strong enough
   
   some people use vtr fan and think its ok, other say vts is safer, i agree, you want to keep it as cool as you can in my opinion

    yes, youd use gti front brakes plus put gti rear axle on with disk brakes

    cooling fan only applies when you are sitting stationary with the engine running to doesnt really matter if you use the vtr or vts twin fan
