    Ello all

    I bought my 1.1 desire back in October and for some reason the only things that I've done to it is lex arse lights (bad choice) so far. Possibly because I havent passed me test yet



    anyway, I've had a long time to think about what I'm going to do with it and would like to hear your thoughts on my plans.


    first of all I'm getting a Peco system with 100mm slash cut exit


    Then I'm getting and spraying my badges black:

    and


    Then I'm going to lower it by 40 mmm and fit these babys to it:


    After that I need a trip to the bodyshop to have my MK2 VTR spoiler fitted and also get the rear windows tinted in dark smoke.



    Ok that's my plan anyway. What do you guys think of it?

    its the future i have tasted it lmao

    are u gunna get a 4 stud conversion then as i think urs will be 3 stud and those alloys wont fit

    you see, my plans where something like that...until the old 3 stud bastard wheels came into play! not happy at all!, so...when my tax runs out im gonna sell up, renew tax 1st so i can still drive it though. buy another saxo then get going with some mods!

    Sounds good bud! Ive got a desire too. I'm putting on VT* arches and door panels on, plus the full Ultimate Velocity Predator kit but having the gap between the front arches and the front bumper smoothed together. Also getting the arches smoothed into the side skirts too. I'm quite lucky as the car was already lowered and had a new exhaust already on it when i bought it so that takes some of the hassle away. Gonna smooth my boot after that, then get the bonnet smoothed and new alloys. Nice plans tho bud, keep us updated!!

    yeh I was thinking of fitting a VT* kit as well but I don't really see the point as I'm getting my VTR at the end of 2006 and I think it'll sell better without it on.

    looking good snewham!

    just one thing i'd reconsider is the exhaust.. i recon a 3.5 magnex universal would suit better!?!.

    i think a big jap exhaust would stick out like a sore thumb maybe edgeing on 'chavish'?? no offence to you or anyone else who has one imo its to overpowering for a 1.1 saxo.

    also have you considerd wheels like 'street octane' or the similar 'team dynamics' wheels to carryon the black and silver theme??

    if your getting a vtr next year matey do what i have done and do mods you can take off and put on to your vtr!

    and keep the standerds obvisley

    also i recon you should get some smoked side repeaters to finish the lights off nicely.

    As for the aerial, no I don't drive around with it like that lol and I'll find a pic of an exhaust on a 1.1 similar to mine to prove to you that it looks lush

    here you are. This exhaust is almost identical to the one I'm getting and it's on a 1.1 as well . I think it looks quality

    Nice plans scott, but i reckon the slash-cut backbox would look nicer...just my opinion don't listen to me!!

    Yate5y you said all mk2s are 4-stud...i'm pretty sure mine's a 3-stud (which sucks) - but how would i find out?

    If it is a 4-stud my problems are solved.... (sorry for the scott!)

    Look at the wheels and see if it has 3 nuts or 4 nuts.

    Can anyone confirm for definate if mk2 1.1s are 4 stud or not? If they are then happy days!!

    you can easily check yourself. Take your wheel cover off and if there are 4 bolts through the wheel then it is 4 stud and if there are 3 then it is 3 stud. can't say for definate if all mk2s are 4 stud or whether they introduced te 4 stud later.

    all mk2s are 4 stud i do believe

    and mate i like the exhaust your looking at but not for the 1.1. iv seen plenty of 4" slash cuts on 1.1s before and they can look mint, take marks for example

    but if i were you i go for a small downsize, maybe 3"? thats what im doing anyway. plus im sure someone told me you lose power(not good on a 1.1 ) because of loss of back pressure, i could be talkin out my arse, if i am then im sure someone like scott will soon set me straight

    and arran, universal exhausts are the signature exhausts of the chav.

    I don't really care about the power to be honest. anyway I'll take your advice and I'm going to take the car to Motech tomorrow and see what they recommend. Cheers mate

    that exhausts horrid mate!

    yeah all you need to do is check how many nuts are in the wheel 3 or 4! always thought mk2s were all 4 stud tho

    ultimate velocity full kit arrived today! just waiting on vt door panels then ill be killing off my social life to save up to have it all fitted n sprayed
