   ive just been offered one from a mate at work its a write off but engines in good working order just wondering would it fit into my saxo or would the engine be to big any help would be great

   its not as straight forward as just dropping it in. new mounts would need to be made and its all a tight fit

   It would be too big, it can be done as people have done it before but its a bit of a big job.

   same engine as the gti6 and that fits
   differance is the gear box which only has 5 cogs but allows a bit more lock to be used.
   
   wouldnt be that hard if you can weld and fabricate bits yourself
   
   brakes are the 287mm items aswell so also a good upgrade and the rear calipers have larger pistons in them
