engine conversion question

   Just a quick question, putting a 1998 106 GTI engine into a 1998 VTR, will the wiring loom from the 106 work with everything in the saxo?

   no the multi plug (main plug between the engine and car) is different on a 106 to a saxo

   So what loom needs to be used?

   mk1 vts loom or bastardise the loom that comes with the engine

   goodluck trying to find a vts loom, try looking on 106owners as they have the same problem with a vts loom not fitting a gti so more likely to find one forsale on its own there

   A guy on here has a loom and unlocked ecu for me, looking good.
