i no the headlights and grill are different but it dnt matter about the grill as the bonnet has been badboy'd. i just wondered if it has been done b4 or how far up the bonnet the mk2 lights come.?

u can convert a phase 1 to a phase 2

BUT.......

you need the headlights, bonnet, front panel, front wings as they are different, i think thats it!?

it has been done before!!!!

you cant just fit a phase 2 bonnet as it wouldnt look right!!! cause of the head lights!!!!!!

yer i no what your sayin! i need a bonnet and wing re-spray anyway! as my bonnet has been touched up all over it and my wing has faded really badly!
il have to do the full conversion. but how do you get the bonnet to open?

the bonnet will still work from the same catch mecanism!!!!!!!!!

it wont be cheap to do the full conversion!!!!

well i was plannin on a full respray this summer so i i can just get all the bits from breakers! or second hand off ebay!
shouldnt be too much then should it?

You'll need, wings, headlights,bonnet and I think the slam panel. Not cheap though and not worth it imo.

Just get your bonnet resprayed or buy a mk1 bonnet from the scrap yard.

i was in the process of buying a mk2 badboy bonnet which is why the conversion came to light. mk1 badboy bonnets seem to be as rare as rockin horse shite but there's always a mk2 badboy bonnet on ebay!

Go to a bodyshop and ask them to extend your mk1 bonnet to a bad boy one then. If needed buy a mk1 bonnet from scrappy and use that.
