Allow hammershite. Just use normal primer/paint/lacquer. Post pics when they are done, usually adds a hint of freshness

yeahh same might get some hammerite then, cause also i dont want my wipers off the car for too long with this crap weather, and hammerite is much quicker than painting with primer/laquer

Ive pulled my finger out and ready to do the same as the white patch annoys me when Im driving.

Did you just reapply over the needed area or do the whole lot (excluding the rubber, obviously )

Im guessing a quick sand down first?

They are only held on by 1 bolt.

Simply open the bonnet and undo the 13mm nut at the end of the wiper.

    Wiggle the wiper free.

    Paint and refit.

I only know as i did mine today

when you unscrew the bolt, you have to push down on the part where the wiper arm can like spring up, the bit where the hinge is....once the nut is off push down on that bit to pull it off otherwise it goes at an angle on the bolt and you cant take it off.

yeah sanded down and then just went up and down the arm about 4 coats, leaving about 15 mins in betweeen each coat. i reckon i could have done more coats but they dont look that bad.....and saxos look so much better without wipers on i loved them off
