Help With BMC

  1. #1
First off this isnt my car its a Mk2 VTR, this bmc was bought at a good deal but without mounting's and piping so got abit of a problem. there is some piping still off the old filter, but its not the correct size. just wondering how people have mounted there bmc filters, and has anybody done it without the original mountings? at the moment the filter is pretty sturdy as its lighter than the orginal filter that this piping was designed for. will it be alright like this you reckon of dus it need supporting?

Looks like it should be ok as long as clip holding the elbow to the bmc is tight/secure, but you are best off getting hold of a samco elbow in teh correct size, and get a decent cold air feed to the bmc aswel
