ive got 16" millie miglia alloys with 205/45/16's on, but am changing the tyres due to manic scrubbage, will 195/40/16's fit? ive also found 205/40/16's, that are cheaper than the same brand in the 195's, u recon there will be much difference? cheers guys!

#2205/40/16 will be better
did you buy thewheels off law uk mate -
#3not to sure but just so u know it will adjust your mph. put ur sizes in there and it tells you the stats

#4You want the tyres the same width as your wheels. So 205.
The 40 is the profile. Which is the tyre height in percentage to the width. So the 40's will be better than what you have now. -
#5For 16" you want 195 40 16 as these are the same overal size as the stock set up.

#6yea i bought them off law_uk lol love the alloys but as ive just lowered it, its rubbing like mad, wanna keep the alloys and the drop in the suspension, so looks like the tyres are gonna go! so will 205/40/16's proberbly not rub? found toyos in this size cheaper than the 195's.

#7they used to be mine they were white when i had them but they used to rub on my vts
-
#8run some 195's on them you will lose grip but get a small amount of stretch..... my alloys rubbed they were originally 185's (ive got a flat arch) so i run 165's now and no rubbing, the profile isnt going to make much diffrence on the rubbing as im guessing your gettin rub because of the width.

#9nah, ive modded the arches for the width, its rubbing on the rear bumper bracket i think. dont really wanna stretch the tyres as still want grip as am local to the triangle, and welsh country roads, so don't want saxo a la tree. god, i feel like my alloys are hub whores.... think im gonna get 205/40/16, new arb is kinda out of the question to reduce arm travel, too expensive. and im guessing you cant just get a gti bar from a scrappy and fit it?
