White steel wheels?

   This is my first car and Im 17 so I dont think the insurance company (direct line) will let me put alloy wheels on this baby.
   
   Do you think it would look good if I got my uncle to sand blast the steel wheels and powder coat them white?

   Could look very good you dont see many desires with white stealies go for it, plus it might not affect your insurance

   I think you are allowed to add alloys mate, as long as they are Citroen parts they are just considered as an upgrade.

   yh get them done white or get vtr/s rims and dont say but being citroen i dont think it will go up much

   Rang up directline and they said I definitely am not allowed to put alloys on because im 17 with 3rd party.
   
   I am not risking alloys as they will probably look out for them to make my insurance invalid so I will go for white steelies.

    mate i painted my steelies white on my 1.1 desire, its a cheap and easy Mod and it looks the nutz imo!
    they are wankers to keep clean! but do it... im not a fan of alloys myself!
    
    curb a steel, and lol it off 5 bucks for a new one...
    curb an ally, ouch!

    Your insurance will hardly go up.
    Mine went up like £4 a month when i put alloys on a 106 (back when i was 17)
    
    But it depends who you're with

    Mate. Ive said about 3 times now I would pay the insurance but direct line WILL NOT AGREE TO ME PUTTING ALLOYS ON MY CAR.
    THEY WONT INSURE ME IF I DO IT.
    IM NOT ALLOWED TO ADD ALLOYS OR THEY WONT KEEP ON INSURING ME.
    MY INSURANCE BECOMES INVALID IF I ADD ALLOYS.
