looking to work out what figures my vtr will hit when sorted, mods up to now will be(some of what i have and what i look to get maybe changing as i go so any comments advice welcome)

    90bhp vtr engine,
    ph3 camshaft
    mild steel 4-2-1
mild steel straight through( race tube)
piper 4" stainless back box(possibley coming off as its stupidly loud and getting on my tits)
gsxr bodies with custom inlet mani
    predator ecu
    106 xsi box
head skimmed to the highest tolerance

looking for approx figure with these firstly as ive not had much experience with bodies so i dont know ha im expecting tbh

and then maybe a bit of head work but im not sure wheter or not its worth it for the moeny and power it will give????? cheers in advance

it's hard to tell really, i look at figures etc on rallye reg as alot of people over there tune the wee 8v. Some guy made 132 fhp i believe from his xsi with standard cam, gsxr bodies, standalone and useal breathing mods. Then a guy that lives not far from me made 110, 115 fhp in his s2 rallye with basically the same setup. it's wierd how the figures differ so much.

but the general power outputs ive seen for this kind of setup is ruffly 130,135 maybe 140 fhp. wont see over 140fhp without good head work or dodgey rollers. Torque wise there will be alot of midrange torque from the bodies. Will defo be a fast 8v imo.

    hope that helps mate

    Around 140 - 150bhp i would say

    Will you be staying N/A?

If you get some decent headwork done as well, you could see possibly about 140, but for the cost of that, you may as well cam and body a 16v engine and make more like 160 anyway.

some of you guys are quite ambitious lol! anything from 115-130 imo.

170 out of a 16v engine aint cheap.

    i think around 130ish tbh....

I would be more concerned about the power delivery and how smooth the car runs tbh.
    Whens it getting mapped?

i was thinking around 130-135, car isnt geting mapped for a while, gotta wait for the single plug vtr pred, also going on hol in aug so wont be starting till after then, car is being totally stripped and sprayed white, then its going back together with just the front seats and dash, and lots of fibreglass parts eg flushed bonnet and boot, thinking of polycarb windows but i dont know if im gonna take it that far, still at the drawing board atm was going to go diy boosted but id rather the n/a reliability as i have a heavy foot and cant afford forgies lol
