Black Vtr Alloys

  1. #1
I was browsing ssc and someone posted a pic of vtr alloys that had been painted black.

I like the original alloys but was considering getting some black alloys in the new year as they would look neat on my yellow saxo.

Any other members on here have black VTR alloys? if so post pics please

Didn't really wanna post this on ssc as they don't seem such a friendly bunch

    thanks

Yeah im seriously thinking i may save myself some cash and go down this route.

I do really like how the sax looks on its original alloys and mine are mint so they should turn out ok.

On ssc it was stated that it would cost £30-50 per wheel, does that sound about right?

Also are there different finishes as i'd want mine nice n shiny, i've seen a few that 'appear' to have a dull matt like finish.

    Cheers

i think the matt finish looks good mate. i was thinking about ditching my multispokes and getting some black vts wheels. standard & subtle

yeah i'd definately want um shiny!!

Don't think purple would go too well wiv my yellow paintwork

saw a yellow mk2 VTR yesterday... had a stripped out interior with black dimma cage, black buckets with yellow harnesses, carbon bonnet, black 17's lowered and smoked lights all round

looked fcuking execllent! i was like

Yeah i know the zest yellow is not to everyone's taste and to be honest it wasn't even looking for a yellow car but when i saw mine i knew i just had to have it.

Imo the yellow vtr looks awesome, and its not a very common colour.
Wiv black wheels it looks the dogs.

Just got a dimma grill for mine to be fitted in the new year and then at some point the black wheels will follow.

Im Still unsure whether to get my vtr's black or whether to buy sum 15's, i really love multispokes in black!!

The one you saw sounds really nice.

ive sprayed about 5 sets of alloys black now, realy easy to do, saves allot of money, but my nw vts wheels ive got powder coated for 20quid a wheel, so couldnt say no realy. feel like ive let myself down though here some of the wheels ive sprayed. sorry for the poor images, and the pictures not of just the wheels. It realy is easy to spray them, and vtr wheels looks awsome in black or anthracite(dark grey)

they look good in gloss black rather than matt
They look great on a yellow saxo

I really like the look of the standard wheels with the little grooves filled in . then painted , I think it makes the wheels look like a totally different set.

Ive painted my vtr rims purple, think it more unusual than black. . . purple ftw.
