zorst system ???

I was planning on getting a zorst system for my furio but wanted it to have a cat for mot time
My mate said that if i didnt get a de-cat it wouldnt really be worth it as the exhaust would be constricted.
How hard is it to put a cat back on a car?
Or should i really just get a backbox?

just leave the cat in dude. it will restrict some power but not that so much its all that noticable.

cats are easy to take on and off but if you cant be bothered with the hassle then just buy a full system and leave the cat in place is my advice.

I think thats probably what i should do. Don't really wanna be one of these 4" backbox types

    Don't get one then!
Wether the exhaust has a cat or not makes no difference to the style of backbox.

it takes a tube of exhaust paste, a 13mm spanner and 15 mins to put a cat in, take one out. if its under the car. easy

Getting a catback exhaust, that removes the middle silencer and has a more straight through rear box, will still give you a small gain with the cat in

Bit off topic I know but I've fitted my supersprint centre section to the VTR yesterday but only seems loud at 3 above dont really hear it that much weird (its a piper backbox). I've been reading around and it will get louder in time? Is this true and any ideas how long to 'peak'?

Mines the same i have SS centre section and piper backbox., the supersprint exhaust is a good exhaust which means its only loud when it needs to be, at low rpm it will only be slightly louder than standard, at high rpm its loud enough

its a good responsive exhaust, which will only make noise when you're revving it hard, its not designed to sound like a wet deep fart at all rpms like a 5 inch powerflow

I am expecting mine to get a wee bit louder as it beds in yes, and yours probably will the same, but probably not that much louder

got for a straight through, mines just a peice of tube from the manifold to the backbox lol!

Having actually owned both a custom straight through and a supersprint system, I would far far reccomend supersprint or another reputably branded pre-designed exhaust system any day of the week.

the build quality of the supersprint is amazing and its extremely lightweight
