vts engine -head gasket

    my mate is selling his vts engine as the head gasket is on its way out so he gonna put somethin different in it, im very tempted to buy it off him, its been chipped and re-mapped comes with the ecu, 4-2-1 mani, lume, gearbox and black diamond clutch. and is runnin 145bhp

    if i buy it off him was gonna get it skimmed and gasket done, also new parts for it as im not gonna be putting it in for a while.


    also how much do you reckon its worth now with the head gasket gone

    maybe £100? as would costs around £100 in parts to fully service it and do headgasket.

    more than £100 if the gearbox is included and ecu is unlocked. £200? depends on mileage really if the box is on its way out as well and the ecu needs unlocking then £100 is a fair price
