Pipe coming from head? Help please

    Noticed off the back right corner of the head there a pipe on an elbow was out. It's about 2inch below the 1 from inducion kit to he head. I pushed back in went for drive checked and was back out. Any help cheers

    Does it come out of the rocker cover? If so its the oil breather pipe.

    Yeah, its probably what saxo_vtr123 said, that pipe just places the hot oil vapours back through the inlet with the air intake, and burns them up in the cylinder. you can put a breather filter on the end which is better for your cold air intake but worse for the environment

    Thats what the breather filter is

    On mine I have a rocker breather and a crank case breather which were both fed back into the throttle body inlet... mines a 90bhp VTR the later ones only had a rocker breather going into the throttle body.

    Crank case and rocker cover are the same thing arnt they

    Won't affect the running of the engine, if you cane it you might get a bit of oil out of it no big deal.

    mines later model and has two pipes going to the inlet

    i jus pushed back into the only hole could have come from lol went for drive again dn stayed in will check tomorrow but i think will just be a breather pipe but got no way of fastenin in securely anyway. come from below other breather round front of block and down the bottom somewhere
