squeaking/difficult gears

   hi there
   
   im getting a little pissed off with the gear change in my furio. at first the gears go in ok but on long journeys, it seems to get stiffer with time and theres generally a squeaking when putting into another gear. Just wondered if anyone else has similar problems ... cheers

   under your console thing where gear stick is you can see four bolts that hold the gear stick in place undo these and you can see the selector you need to copper grease all of this and the bolt that holds it in place and the squeaking should stop as for gears getting harder im not sure maybe new linkages?

   prob be the linkages. you can buy new ones or maybe try and save the old ones by lubing every joint between gearstick and engine bay. my saxo was in my garage for summer last year and this is how i solved my problem when it came out.
