Right, bought a 106 gti and it has a single plug ecu, R reg.
I was told it was a new ecu and says remanufactured on the top. The rev limiter is set at 6250 which I swear this is for vtrs and vts/gti should go to 7250 or something, any light on this would be appreciated. Is there a difference between older and newer ecus or something?
I just question the ecu as I have put a new engine in that was running spot on but since it's been in my car runs like a bag of shit, runs rich, cuts out, alsorts. I've changed lots of sensors and the only thing i'm left with thinking is whether the ecu is dodgey...
