vtr engine change

   hi
   will a 99 reg vtr engine 1plug go into a 97 vtr straight swap?
   only thing i find wierd about the 99 reg engine is that its silvertop is that right?

   if you get the ECU etc then yes it will go striaght in.
   
   If you are doing an engine swap, dont you fancy putting a VTS in instead?

   yes both should be 90hp engines so should be a straight swap

   nope the two 90bhp engines are different in let wise,as the black top has two fuel lines one is a return and the early silvers tops dont so as long as you only use block and head and change all the rest it should be ok

   ok cheers, no its just a basic engine swap im after for a run around i wouldnt mind a vts in my car tho
