Either depends if you have a 90hp or 98hp.

i thaught 51 where still inbertweeners? I thaught it was 02 before you could be sure of a 98hp?

51 in the manifold for sure. have a quick look to confirm. you can clearly see the cat on the manifold when you open the bonnet!

Y reg onwards is in the manifold I think.
Single plug ECU will be CAT under car.

The cars in a garage getting front end done! should have it back inabout 2hours time
ive seen a de-cat pipe for a mark 2 i just thought they were in the manifold.

v/w are the inbetweeners. im sure you'll probably find the odd x reg with a 90bhp but it'll be rare

Main difference is black top engines have non-roller rockers, silver top have roller rocker gear.
