   i think you should save your cash and buy a Vtr or s when you get some no-claims.

   Nothing much can be done to boost the performance of a 1.1, but iirc there is a how to guide floating around about turbo-ing a 1.1 for around 750 quid, so get searching.
   
   Best bet is to put the money towards your next car, or maybe upgrade your audio or get some VT wheels.

   defiinatly put it towards your next car. If you have to mod it and spend money on it and planning on getting a saxo next get things you can swap onto it, 4,2,1 manifold if you get an 8valve next, induction kit, exhaust system. Thats about as far as you can go on a 1.1 anyway.
