new exhaust

   my current standard exhaust is rattleing and begining to blow all over the place so rang kwik fit for a quote, got quoted silly money for a complete system including cat ( vtr mk2, but v reg with cat under the car), i do want to keep the car as standard as possible, only mod i have is a piper induction kit on it, could any one recomend an exhaust thats not to over the top, any preformane gains would be a bonus, kwik fit quoted £373 wtf, cheers

   sportex off ebay for around £140 sound nice and subtle and look good too

   Is it the whole exhaust or just the backbox or the centre section? If the backbox is fine then it should be a fairly cheap fix.

   all ok now thanks, and still standard, got under the car this evening and the clamp holding the cat and middle section was rusted and they had dropped down, went to kwik fit and they gave me one for sweet fa, i fitted it and it pulled the to sections tight together and stopped them sagging and its like new again.
